英国多雨潮湿皮肤病多发，尤其Eczema湿疹最为常见，发病之初症状轻皮损面积小，如不及时诊治则发展迅速，现举一则Dr. 高湿疹治疗案例：李某男性20岁。
主诉：以颈部及前胸皮肤搔痒红疹5天来诊。
病史症状：患者5天前去UCL医院看双耳湿疹，医院给予抗生素口服及激素药膏外涂，几天后导致湿疹扩散到颈部及胸部，随后外用E45（英国超市就可以买到）致大面积皮损、渗出、结痂伴皮肤疼痛不能触及，双肘窝处亦有皮损，来诊时用纱布包裹颈部以避免衣领摩擦疼痛。
诊断：此为典型的急性湿疹，患者免疫功能低下，正气不足湿邪内停。
治则：解毒除湿，扶助正气。
治法：给予口服中药粉剂，因患者皮损重中药汤剂药力强起效快， 给予外用草药水煎洗患处，并配合针灸治疗以疏通经络。
复诊：一周后复诊，皮肤明显好转已无渗出，无疼痛，继续前法治疗一周后，颈胸部及双肘皮肤已愈，后因理发后耳后湿疹复发，继续服用中药治疗两月而痊愈。
